Biography:
Rui David Chen is an assistant professor of operations management at the School of Management and Economics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). Prior to joining CUHK (Shenzhen), he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2015, and Bachelor’s degree in Computational Mathematics from Peking University. His current research interests are supply chain management, inventory management, sustainable operations, and other applications of stochastic modelling.
